Exp: 10+ Years Job Description: As an Engineer 2, the candidate will be responsible for using your technical knowledge to resolve technical issues and identify business process flow problems. Client is looking for a talented individual that can serve as a subject matter expert in their area of focus and represent their department on moderate to complex assignments. In this role on the Vehicle Services team, candidate must possess a strong sense for Customer Service as you will work with the Production Support team to ensure the continual quality and stability of applications. Candidate will interact with other IT client teams and will be responsible for understanding/troubleshooting/resolving issues and providing root cause analysis and feedback to the clients. This role will require you to have strong knowledge of SQL, Database and Java, which will enable you to research and identify issues as well as make changes to data in the databases we support. This team works off Incident tickets, therefore familiarity with ServiceNow and Atlassian Confluence/Jira is beneficial. Qualifications: Required: Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities 3 plus years of experience pf Oracle SQL and Oracle PL/SQL 3 plus years of Java-based software development or related experience 1 plus years of experience with Rest/Soap Web Services Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate to various levels of management and with people with varying technical knowledge Excellent time management and prioritization skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high demand environment Must possess initiative, results-oriented drive and a solid work ethic Must be flexible in the face of changing priorities and requirements Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred Experience in Agile development methodologies and tools such as Scrum and Kanban Experience with JIRA Experience with ServiceNow Experience with Jenkins or other continuous integration tools Experience with source control management (GIT or SVN experience preferred) Experience with AWS – EC2, SQS, S3, etc. Experience in Unix Operating system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
