Our client is a leader in the commercial banking space. nCino has been a primary loan origination tool for the last 5 years. Our client is going through an acquisition and has a steady user base, it is expected the user base will increase in the future. Our client has a user support organization dedicated to nCino that does live video support and ticket troubleshooting support. Our client has a team member going on leave and has turned to SolomonEdwards for help with business application support related to nCino.

Engagement Description: SolomonEdwards Consultant will empower credit functions across multiple verticals. SolomonEdwards Consultant will have expertise in the bank’s credit policies as well as the various underwriting and portfolio management systems (nCino). SolomonEdwards Consultant will be responsible for answering questions on credit policy, lines of defense, and how to use the systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting around deal structures or work arounds, making data updates as needed, and reviewing monitoring and control reports. 60-70% of this engagement will be doing live or trouble ticketing user support. If it is quiet and there are not users requesting help SolomonEdwards Consultant can be doing other things in the background. 10-20% of the time the engagement will be focused on data related activities. Since this engagement is dealing with users, we want someone that is enthusiastic, that has that customer service mindset and enjoys troubleshooting and walking users through problem solving.

Additional responsibilities: User Support/Engagement – Demonstrate advanced knowledge of the various underwriting and portfolio management systems (i.e., nCino) and bank’s configuration to answer user questions including error messages, complex deal entry, system work arounds, and building reports and dashboards. Communicate regularly with users via multiple channels, including educating them on credit policy and business processes as well as answering questions on credit policy including risk rating, lines of defense, policy exceptions, and exposure calculations. Execute appropriate escalations and make enhancement requests based on user issues without explicit user direction. Access & Approval Controls – In conjunction with user support, provide ongoing provisioning of access to confidential deals in nCino as well as reporting of users that have access to that team for monitoring. Execution of various delegated authority controls including review of user approval levels provisioned in systems, review of approvals done outside of the delegated credit authority matrix to ensure they were withing an approved permitted variance, and review of approvals that should have been escalated to a next level approver. Cross Department Collaboration – Collaborate with groups across multiple departments when necessary, including credit policy leaders and the Lending Solutions teams to support all lines of defense in using the systems as well as working through enhancements to the systems and/or policies and procedures. Credit Data & Reporting – Monitor reports and support data cleanup for system accuracy related to SOX, CECL, and other risk and regulatory controls. When necessary, as a System Administrator in nCino, make data changes to the system as part of that support.

Qualifications: 5-10 years of experience in a customer support focused role – business analysis, data analysis, process optimization, production support, business application support. Must have 3 years banking experience, preferably with credit, credit process, and credit tools. Commercial Banking experience is desirable. nCino and or Salesforce experience strongly preferred. If no experience with nCino and Salesforce then other credit tools such as Deal Pricer or Moody’s acceptable. Strong analytical mindset, ability to troubleshoot, work with data, and solve problems real time with users. Strong customer service skills that truly enjoys helping users, enthusiastic, patient, strong written and verbal skills.

Logistics Remote PST or MST preferred but okay with EST but must work PST hours (10am-7pm EST) 6-month contract, may extend W2 $70-75 an hour DOE.
