What you will be doing in this role: The Senior Data/Report Systems Analyst will deliver reporting and analytics solutions to meet the needs of Development and other business partners who have a desire to engage with donors, donor prospects, and other data managed by Advancement. This position will leverage the appropriate business intelligence tool for the type of analysis needed, which includes, but is not limited to, static reports, dynamic reports, self-service portals, data exploration, data visualization, and statistical or predictive analysis tools. Position maintains reports or data dashboards illustrating overall as well as unit-specific results; produces performance reports for constituent engagement and fundraising operations; develops procedures and solutions to ensure the quality of the data; and leads the creation of source code, operations, and end-user documentation. This position will also oversee data mining, predictive modeling, forecasting, and statistical analysis to provide information, knowledge, and tools that support Development in achieving its fundraising goals, as well as provide assessments of program effectiveness. #Jobs-Indeed Qualifications Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, engineering, or information systems or a related major required. Master’s degree in computer science, public health, business administration, informatics, biostatistics or a related major preferred. A minimum of three years of prior work experience functioning I the role of a data analyst and or business analyst including facilitating performance improvement projects and or quantitative analysis/reporting of quality and efficiency measurements. Skills/Experience Sought: Ability to write advanced T-SQL queries, views, stored procedures, and functions. Fluency in Tableau, Power BI or other data visualization tools. Experience working with fundraising platform such as Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge, Salesforce, or Advance. Experience creating data integration and ETL processes in SQL Integration Services (SSIS). Ability to communicate effectively and collaboratively with technical and non-technical staff. Why work here?
