The Data Management team is a part of our Measurement Product Organization. As a member of this organization, you partner with experts across various healthcare verticals, including pharma, agencies, providers, publishers, and channel partners, with the opportunity to innovate and help to shape industry standards for media measurement and optimization. The Data Management team is responsible for the ingestion, logistics and quality assurance of all data used in both DTC and HCP measurements for the larger Digital Enablement team and owns the CHIP program (creation, implementation, and management). Overall team responsibilities include tracking, notification, data handling guideline development, process normalization, information dissemination and troubleshooting of potential issues with data quality, accuracy, and ingestion. Specifically, the Data Management team coordinates receipt and internal handling of data from outside 3rd parties ensuring all internal IQVIA parties’ interests are met and that client deliverables are successfully executed. Additionally, the Data Management team designs and implements data governance and standardization principles to be utilized across the DTC and HCP measurement business. Likewise, the team supports several IQVIA internal functions including the support of measurement platforms, sales efforts, external data party relationships, product development, subject matter expertise consultation and quality control efforts. Data Management works with multiple internal teams in different capacities including Delivery, System Development, Advanced Analytics, Information Management and GTM. The team also does work to help build efficiencies and shape strategy across the organization while contributing to Senior Leadership planning. Lastly, Data Management is behind the creation and implementation of various initiatives (including CHIP). The Data Management Principal Program Manager of Quality and Governance will focus on data quality, lineage, metadata, and dictionaries. They will manage data infrastructure, migrations, and ETL processes. They will also assess the design and build databases, recommend store layouts, and provide tactical solutions. They manage sub-projects of data warehousing initiatives and direct the development of data assets. They develop policies, governance, and a dictionary repository. They facilitate cluster meetings, implement data marts, and communicate strategic direction. They manage technology platforms and negotiate contracts. They develop integration packages, perform proof of concepts, lead architecture committees, and specialize in regression analysis. Essential Functions: Assists in defining project portfolio vision and strategy for implementation that links the organization and company goals and strategies; incorporates best practices into the strategy. Create roadmap, define standards (e.g. delivery methodology, operational structure and norms, roles and responsibilities, compliance). Demonstrates Lean-Agile leadership and executives the SCRUM framework. Identifies risks to project success and creates mitigation plans, and defines metrics for project success across IQVIA. Administers projects, manages project operating costs and mentors other team members. Identifies and establishes partnerships with management-level stakeholders to build support and consensus and alignment on implementation. Proactively coaches team members on Scrum and Agile best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline 12+ years’ experience working hands on within a data warehousing / business intelligence environment. Deep understanding of data management concepts and principles Experience developing ETL and managing Master Data Management (MDM) functions. Experience identifying, developing, and implementing advanced, automated data QC checks. Experience creating a data standards framework for a large organization with complex data sets. Must be knowledgeable in Data Governance best practices. The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $138,500.00 – $257,300.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time).
