Join our team. Bring your ideas to our important work. We are looking for a Director, Proposal Management, to support ICF’s public sector major deal pursuits. You will drive all aspects of the development of compelling, high quality, and compliant proposals in response to requirements that are large, complex, or strategic in nature within ICF’s Enterprise Proposal Center. This position can work remotely from anywhere in the United States. What You Will Do: Collaborate with senior executives, management teams, functional stakeholders, BD leads, innovation staff, partners, subject matter experts, and external consultants to provide proposal leadership, support, and overall direction for ICF’s pursuits Collaborate in supporting the facilitation of solution development, shaping the work, message development, SWOT analysis, competitive analysis, and other activities related to manage the proposal process from pre-RFP activities through final production and close out processes Partnering collaboratively with the Technical Lead you will analyze RFP’s and develop compliance documents, outlines, formats, and final products Develop proposal sections, as appropriate for non-technical areas, including management, past performance, and staffing Develop and manage to the schedule for all color reviews and final production Assist in the assembly of proposal writing resources Identify potential for graphic input Monitor development of the business/pricing proposal to ensure it is on track and in-sync with the technical proposal Serve various functions, as required, throughout the proposal process, e.g., Compliance Matrix Developer, Section Author, Draft Reviewer, Red Team Reviewer, etc. Manage and/or support preparation for interviews and oral presentations May manage more than one live proposal at once Work to continually assess and improve processes and techniques Manage process improvement workstreams, and/or special projects What You Will Bring With You: Minimum 10+ years of experience managing large, complex proposals Bachelor’s degree required, whilst a specialization in Communications, English, Journalism, or related field, is preferred Extensive experience with all aspects of proposal preparation, development, and production Experience managing proposal teams and processes Proven history of leading the development of successful, high quality, high scoring proposals Proposal editing and writing experience Experience with MS 365 and SharePoint What We’d Like You To Bring With You: Collaborative and productive work style Comfortable working with geographically disparate teams, including all levels of internal staff and teaming partners Willing to multi-task in a challenging environment and work to meet deadlines, which at times, may include nights, weekends, and holidays Ability to maintain an upbeat, positive, and constructive demeanor, whilst operating within a dynamic, high-pressure environment Experience with Federal and/or state & local sector proposals and processes Professional Skills: High level of attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality work Excellent verbal, interpersonal, and written communication skills Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information Effective organizational, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities Working at ICF ICF is a global advisory and technology services provider, but we’re not your typical consultants. Pay Range – There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.
