Position Overview:

As a Product Manager for our cybersecurity solution, you will play a pivotal role in bridging the gap between our technical team, business units, and our clients—both existing and potential. You will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our product, overseeing its development, deployment, and continuous improvement. This role demands a proactive approach to stakeholder engagement, requirement gathering, and product strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and customers to ensure product goals are aligned with business objectives and user needs.
  • Lead product planning and strategy sessions, leveraging your understanding of cybersecurity trends and market needs.
  • Collaborate closely with a small, agile development team and designer, to prioritize and guide product features and enhancements.
  • Engage with customers to gather feedback, understand their challenges, and incorporate insights into product development.
  • Draft comprehensive user stories that include value statements, success criteria, and test cases, to guide development and ensure product-market fit.
  • Follow up on product requests and emergencies diligently, ensuring issues are acknowledged promptly and stakeholders are kept informed of progress.
  • Occasionally step in to test product functionality, especially when QA resources are stretched, to ensure releases meet quality standards.
  • Take the initiative to identify process gaps or documentation needs, and drive efforts to address these proactively.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in product management, ideally within the cybersecurity or technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of both technical and business perspectives in product development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and manage expectations of various stakeholders effectively.
  • Experience in drafting detailed user stories, value propositions, success criteria and test cases.
  • A keen eye for identifying process improvements and a proactive approach to implementing solutions.
  • Understanding of cybersecurity principles and challenges is highly desirable.
  • Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • A team player with a collaborative mindset, willing to pitch in when needed to support testing or other tasks to keep projects moving forward.
