Rock Rabbit is a VC-backed, seed-stage climate tech startup seeking a senior mobile and web app developer with expertise in React/React Native to lead the development of our mobile app. This position is ideal for experienced engineers with a track record delivering high-quality RN apps who thrive in fast-paced environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead the development of Rock Rabbit’s mobile app.
- Work closely with SMEs, and the product and design teams to understand end-user requirements and use cases, then translate that into a pragmatic and effective technical solution.
- Develop high-quality, maintainable, and scalable code using React Native and other relevant mobile technologies.
- Navigate and manage rapid development cycles and evolving project demands efficiently.
- Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices to continuously improve our products and processes.
Skills
- Solid (3+ years) experience in front-end development with a focus on React Native.
- Strong knowledge of state management technologies, such as Redux or MobX.
- Familiarity with UI/UX design principles and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and TypeScript.
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Git.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience with agile software project management processes and tools.
- Adaptability and flexibility to work in an early-stage startup environment.
- Familiarity with web development is preferred.
