In this position you will:
- Prepare, review, and deliver cash flow reports and analysis in eMoney by gathering client data and working directly with the Managing Directors and clients.
- Perform estate planning document reviews by reading clients’ will, trusts, power of attorney, marital agreement, partnerships, or other legal documents and create summaries, flowcharts, and observations and recommendations.
- Research and model financial, charitable, estate, and tax planning topics related to proposed or completed client transactions and offer analysis and recommendations.
- Prepare and review other financial planning deliverables (Social Security, Medicare, education, insurance, pension, and executive compensation planning)
- Review Net Worth reports prepared by planning associates for thoroughness and accuracy and identify planning opportunities.
- Prepare Clearsight reports for prospective clients.
- Participate in client meetings, as needed.
- Train and educate team members on financial planning topics and deliverables.
- Interface with client attorneys, accountants, and other advisors to implement planning strategies.
- Develop knowledge of all assigned clients through reading meeting notes, studying client files, and completing tax and financial planning projects for those clients.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
The successful candidate will have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, accounting, taxation, finance, or related field
- CFP or CPA designation a plus
- AEP designation a plus
- 5-7 years’ experience working for a wealth management firm, bank, or law firm.
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
- Strong computer proficiency (e.g., eMoney, Word, Excel, Adobe, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Strong client orientation
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong team player
