What You Bring
- proven experience in high-performance C/C++ development
- experience working within a Linux environment and familiarity with Perl or Python and CI/CD tools (git, Jenkins, Artifactory, Ansible)
- ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong interpersonal skills; strong interest in learning new technologies and concepts, with knowledge of financial market data being advantageous
- ability to thrive in fast-paced and agile environments (SAFe agile framework)
- excellent verbal and written English skills; knowledge of Polish or German is a plus

Join SIX Index IT, the core team responsible for calculating all indices, including “SMI,” within the Swiss exchange. Our international team, representing over 10 nationalities, is on a trajectory to evolve into a global index provider. The index platform we maintain is indispensable to SIX, intricately linked with the exchange, where neither can function independently.
As a Site Reliability Engineer, you’ll play a vital role in safeguarding the operational service and stability of the SIX Index service.
