There’s a lot to do. That’s why Birk is looking for helping hands in the internal IT infrastructure team.
IMPORTANT: You don’t have to have the consulting gene in you! Our people in the 30-strong ICT team are the patient, get-it-done people who make sure the IT side of things runs smoothly. Our “customers” are: the departments of UNITY AG and subsidiaries of the UNITY Innovation Alliance (our group of companies).
Tasks
Whereby you can support Birk:
- Responsible for IT infrastructure services: from classic hypervisor operation to Windows Server and Active Directory including the entire Microsoft 365 cloud stack to classic network topics in the area of switching and firewalls, there are no limits to the topics you can cover. Feel free to talk to us about your main requirements.
- Advise colleagues from other departments: Provide helpful impulses and technical recommendations in your topics and at the interfaces.
- Further develop the IT architecture: Advance the infrastructure and thus the IT-related quality of work of the entire group of companies (UNITY Innovation Alliance)
Qualification
Must-have:
- Proven, several years of professional experience in the field of IT infrastructure (plus point: in a comparable corporate environment such as UNITY AG)
- A completed apprenticeship, e.g. as an IT specialist* or a completed degree
- Structured approach and high service mentality
- Enjoy solving problems and working in a team
- German language skills: min. B2, English language skills: min. B2 (C1 preferred)
Nice-to-have:
- Knowledge with Microsoft Windows (Server, Active Directory), Azure Stack HCI / Microsoft HyperV, Microsoft 365 & Azure, Cisco Meraki or others.
- Desire for joint department events, e.g. Mario Kart evenings and eating pizza together
