NTT DATA is assisting our client in the search for a Senior Information Security Architect – Google Cloud in NY. This is a Full-Time, Direct Hire opportunity. This position is not with NTT Data. Responsibilities: Designs, implements, and maintains security measures within cloud environments to protect digital assets and data. Partners and collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies, identify vulnerabilities, and create robust security solutions for cloud-based systems. Develops and implements a comprehensive cloud security strategy that aligns with the organization’s goals and compliance requirements. Designs and architects secure cloud solutions, considering aspects such as network security, identity, and access management (IAM), encryption, and data protection. Continuously monitors cloud environments for security threats, vulnerabilities, and anomalies. Implements proactive measures and incident response plans to address cloud security incidents effectively. Ensures that cloud security practices adhere to industry standards and regulatory compliance. Collaborates with development, operations, and IT teams to educate and enforce security best practices. Works with IT teams and business owners to verify that the cloud environment reference architecture aligns with the business processes and requirements. Verifies that the required security controls are properly implemented in cloud projects. Works closely with the Security Operation team to verify visibility into cloud environments and identify potential threats and suspicious events. Revises and develops processes to strengthen the cloud Security Operations Framework. Required: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 5+ years of information security experience. 3+ years of cloud security experience. Preferred: Master’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. 7+ years of information security experience The salary range this position is $120K – $210K/year. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations.
