We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Quality Engineering to join our team. As a healthcare quality leader, you will play a vital role in driving the test strategy, collaborating on a comprehensive software engineering strategy, and ensuring high-quality healthcare technology solutions. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Drive the overall Test Strategy, for a large medication adherence program with a multi-year growth strategy, incorporating quality principles for optimal performance and user experience Lead and manage teams, develop team members, and foster a success mindset. Lead a team of functional, performance, and automation testers, driving Agile development and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CICD). Supervise a geographically dispersed team that Designs, develops, and implements automated frameworks and tests (e.g., unit, functional, regression, performance) Prioritizes feature changes, user story modifications, and defects based on quality risk impact assessments As the product evolves from a medication adherence initiative to a universal pharmacy encounter queue, champion test strategies, collaborate with teams, and recommend risk mitigation actions Own the Y2024 and long-range testing roadmap that includes unit testing, functional testing, system integration testing, automation and performance testing.Own the AI model governance process to enable and drive ongoing monitoring of AI models for model and data drifts and timely mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity. Lead testing practices, drive automation, and ensure high-quality healthcare technology solutions Drive a test-driven software development approach that needs collaboration on the development and deployment of solutions, aligning with business goals and utilizing modern development methodologies and tools. Consider security, scalability, reliability, and feasibility in solution design Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies, researching their impact on function and business. Demonstrate business acumen by understanding business objectives and aligning technology solutions to optimize and enable solutions. Identify gaps in business maturity and recommend a roadmap for advancing quality practices. Initiate opportunities and influence stakeholders with ideas that drive business value. Proactively identify and address security gaps in solution design and delivery. Apply analytical skills to interpret patterns, analyze data, and make informed decisions. Prioritize the customer experience, collect and implement customer values, and track emerging areas of concern You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: Experience with software development and testing tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, JIRA, Git, Jenkins, and Docker Experience in leading and managing teams, driving Agile development, and implementing CICD Proven experience in quality engineering, with a focus on healthcare technology Solid knowledge of test strategies, automated testing frameworks, and DevOps practices Familiarity with software engineering methodologies, modern development tools, and industry standards Proven excellent understanding of data security, compliance, and privacy regulations Proven analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions Proven exceptional leadership, communication, and collaboration skills Proven solid business acumen and the ability to align technology solutions with organizational goals Proven ability to drive innovation and stay updated with emerging technologies Preferred Qualification: Experience in the healthcare industry If you are a results-oriented, strategic thinker with a passion for quality engineering in the healthcare industry, we invite you to join our team as a Senior Director of Quality Engineering.
