Job Summary Responsible for advanced level development, testing, implementation and maintenance of all facets of web-based application systems for a campus unit. May serve as project lead on applications impacting multiple units and provide work direction to Web Developers. This position will interact on a consistent basis with: management and staff within assigned units and personnel in Office of Information Technology. This position will supervise: NA Responsibilities Job Duty 1 – Conduct web-based applications development and implementation consistent with unit needs Job Duty 2 – Maintain assigned applications, providing issue resolution in a timely manner Job Duty 3 – Maintain all required documentation related to unit web applications Job Duty 4 – Provide direction and leadership for web-related project assignments Job Duty 5 – Prepare project schedules and budgets Job Duty 6 – Prepare formal and informal status reports and presentations Job Duty 7 – Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications Educational Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Experience Six to eight years of job related experience Preferred Qualifications Additional Preferred Qualifications Systems and job environment will house specific software applications and operating systems that are associated with additional specific skills that are preferred Preferred Qualifications Experience turning design files into Responsive, accessible, and editable pages for the web Experience with Front end including HTML, CSS and Javascript Experience with Unix-like command line environments (Linux, macOS, etc.) Familiar with the concepts of Feeds and Webforms Familiar with Drupal and Drupal extensions Ability to collaborate effectively with other developers using Git Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines Proposed Salary Salary Range: $61,618.00 – $90,000 Grade I4 Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities SKILLS This job requires advanced knowledge and skills in configuration and deployment of web applications including database design, web based scripting languages and web standards. Additionally, skills in project management, work leadership, presentation, customer service and problem solving are required.
