What You’ll Do

HGI is looking for an  Assistant Certification Program Coordinator , you will be at the helm of orchestrating the coaching program’s daily certification and improvements functions, as well as managing key initiatives. This includes ensuring interested potential coaches are screened and certified through the HG Institute. After coaches have completed the certification, some will be eligible to coach on the Healthy Gamer platform. You will hand-off the onboarding of selected coaches to the Healthy Gamer Coaching team. 

Responsibilities:

  • Certification Management/Administration
    • Assist recruitment plan development and implementation
    • Assist with the operational and administrative forms necessary for information and data collection and evaluation of program effectiveness.
    • Assist in the maintenance of system of dissemination of current resources for programs
    • Collaborate with the Program Coordinator to streamline the certification process for the HG Institute. 
  • Curriculum Development/Evaluation
    • Assist in the implementation, planning, development, and modifications of new and existing programs.
    • Research, review, and analyze coaching and clinical standards, and evaluate and monitor programs to determine the effectiveness of the design and implementation.
    • Make recommendations to improve, and modify procedures, policies, and instructions to new or existing programs.
    • Make recommendations to modify specific programs focused on specialized skills and abilities.
    • Communication Strategy:  Devise and execute communication strategies with various personnel like certifying coaches, mental health consultants, and associated internal staff.
    • Cohort Management Assistance
  • Policy/Regulation
    • Monitor compliance in ethical codes, program quality requirements, coaching standards 
    • Monitor coach eligibility for certification
    • Consult with staff and coaches around ethical codes, program quality requirements, and coaching standards
  • Client / Administrative Support
    • Customer Service Collaboration:  Assist and collaborate with the Customer Service Manager and Program Coordinator as needed.
    • Administrative Ticket Management: Oversee and manage administrative tickets for Institute members, ensuring relevant internal team members are tagged for appropriate actions. Monitor and ensure timely follow-up and resolution for Institute-related concerns.
  • Feedback Evaluation: Proactively assist with the assessment and feedback from both clients and coaches post-session to help pinpoint opportunities to enhance our services.

Who You Are:

  • Education: Minimum requirement of GED
  • Mental Health Savvy : Prior experience or understanding of mental health services is crucial, providing insight into both the patient and provider perspectives.
  • Gamer Acumen : Being native to the gaming world is essential. You resonate with the language, allegories, and digital nuances of our primary clientele.
  • Project Management Skills : You can execute multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring each is completed to the highest standard.
  • Collaborative Spirit : Teamwork and open communication are second nature to you. You thrive in environments where collaboration and feedback are valued.
  • Training Content Development/Review Experience : You have a knack for developing meaningful content and reviewing materials to ensure alignment with organizational training and certification objectives.
  • Analytical Thinking : You’re comfortable dissecting data, spotting trends, and helping to devise strategies based on your insights.
  • Passion for improving healthcare 
  • Proficient in relevant technology and software (Google Suite, Discord, Slack, etc.)
