To strengthen our IT department, which currently has around 150 employees, we are currently looking for a
Computer scientist in the field of data engineering (m/f/d) Your tasks:
- You will be involved in modernizing the core system of Deutsche Rentenversicherung with state-of-the-art cloud technologies.
- In an agile environment, you will develop data integration solutions for relational databases and document-oriented databases.
- This includes the design of software architectures and databases as well as the development of specific interface programs.
- You will take care of the automation and monitoring of database operation with regard to quality assurance and continuous optimization.
- The administration and planning of the resources required for database operation, as well as the planning and implementation of regular updates to the database software are also part of your area of responsibility, as are the clarification and rectification of complex error situations.
- You will also advise developers on the possible uses of the data platform.
Your profile:
- Successfully completed university degree in computer science or a comparable field of study, alternatively
- Successfully completed further training in the field of IT
- relevant experience in the field of IT
- Knowledge of agile software development methods and the associated tools
- Basic knowledge of different database technologies (e.g. Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
- Knowledge of at least one common programming language (e.g. Java, SQL)
- Experience in dealing with large amounts of data in relational and non-relational databases is an advantage
- Analytical, logical, structured and conceptual thinking skills
- Ability to work in a team and communication skills
- Independent decision-making and action
- Customer and service orientation
- Ability to work under pressure
- Confident appearance
- Willingness to travel on business and to undergo continuous training
