About the project, The role holder provides technical advice and assistance to automation projects for our external and internal customers. They are a competent design authority on larger or more complex solutions, demonstrating an understanding of the customers’ business and commercial issues. They identify, design and deliver large or more complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions.
Your responsibilities, Lead the implementation, configuration, and maintenance of SAP Solution Manager with functionalities: CHARM with retrofit, SIEM/Layer 7, Customizing Distribution, CBTA. Lead the change arising to any of SAP Solution Manager ALM functionalities arising from other projects like upgrade, migration, system copies/refreshes, development system rebuild, changes to BAU, project tracks., Develop and maintain technical standards and documentation for SAP BASIS activities., Provide expert level support for SAP BASIS operations, troubleshooting, and performance tuning., Lead and manage SAP BASIS team, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations., Collaborate with other IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure alignment of SAP landscape with business goals., Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging technologies in the SAP BASIS space.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field., 5+ years of experience in SAP BASIS administration, with expertise in SAP Solution Manager., SAP certification(s) is a plus., Strong understanding of SAP architecture, databases, and operating systems, Experience leading and managing a team of BASIS administrators., Excellent communication and interpersonal skills., Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously., SAP connections, Opening connections for SAP support;, Providing credentials for SAP support, SAP Notes, Applying normal SAP notes;, Applying TCI SAP notes;, Applying TCI SAP notes, Solution Manager, Basic settings;, Managed Systems Set up, ChaRM support and development, CBTA, Configuration Synchronization, SIEM / Layer 7 configuration and settings, SIEM / Layer 7 upgrades, SIEM / Layer 7 ticket handling, SIEM / Layer 7 Solution Manager templates, Customizing Distribution, LMDB / SLD integration, Certificate Management General Support, Background Jobs General Support, Batch Input General Support, SSO SAML2, OpenText, Configuration of archives / pools in OpenText, Certificate Management, Archiving settings and Configuration, VIM, RFC SNC Setup, Fiori, System Aliases and Routing, Publishing Services, ICF Services, UI5, UR, NWBC Patching, Cache Management, Email, email issues – SOST, Basic configuration, Inbound email configuration – SOIN, Firewall Ruleset development
