We appreciate lifelong learners and explorers eager to innovate., , As an Automotive Backend Developer you will collaborate with the team to design, develop, and optimize cloud components of Modern Automotive Digital Twin Solution for one of German premium car manufacturers.
Your responsibilities, Develop the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) for the Digital Twin solution, playing a crucial role in its inception and early-stage development, Work closely with other cross-funtional teams and architects, including both embedded and cloud teams, to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the end-to-end automotive software platform, Conduct research and spikes to select the most suitable technologies and design concepts for different use cases, ensuring optimal performance and scalability, Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand and document software requirements thoroughly, Create comprehensive tests and maintain proper documentation for all developed software components, Actively participate in scrum ceremonies and on-site PI plannings (quarterly in client’s office in Germany)
Minimum 5 years of experience as a backend developer, demonstrating proficiency in tackling significant software challenges, Experience as a developer in Java / Kotlin based enterprise applications with microservice architecture (security, scalability, resilience, async communication, …) in various projects, Previous work with MQTT, MongoDB and Kafka, Experience with CI/CD tools, Good understanding of maintainability, security and code quality, Very good command of English, both written and spoken (B2+/C1), Good communication skills & openness
Optional, Familiarity with Rust programming language is advantageous, though candidates with a willingness to learn it are also welcome, Familiarity with Quarkus and GraalVM
