Job Summary Our Infrastructure Engineer should have knowledge of cloud ecosystems and their offerings, corporate user administration, and be knowledgeable in system-level linux and container-based administration. This engineer would be responsible for helping to deploy, scale, innovate and automate a complex network eco-system in a secure manner in Microsoft Azure. In addition, they will be responsible for antivirus, patching, and troubleshooting. We are responsible for the reliability, high availability, monitoring, and automation of a data-heavy system with real-time feeds while keeping an eye on latency, performance, capacity, and cost. This engineer would also support our internal users with daily issues and external users experiencing video conferencing issues. Responsibilities Key member of the infrastructure team implementing and maintaining our cloud and linux-based systems Ensures our applications aren’t vulnerable to attack by keeping all aspects of security up to date, monitoring for and preventing intrusions, and patching/anti-virus updates Responds to reported/detected incidents as a participant of the incident management team Uses knowledge of DNS, LAN/WAN, networking, and administration to complete a variety of projects Handles user administration for software and security across the team Deploys and configures technologies and corresponding software Supports security processes across the organization Enacts processes for disaster recovery and archiving to ensure effective protection and integrity of storage appliances and stored data assets Establishes appropriate end-user access control levels for stored data Creates automation scripts to support deployments and administrative simplification Researches and makes recommendations on products, services, and standards in support of procurement and development efforts Works occasional off hours to provide support for administration such as patching of production systems Educational and Knowledge Requirements Minimum 4 year College Degree or equivalent work experience O365 Administration (Policies, account management, SharePoint, etc) Docker and Kubernetes deployment and maintenance (or similar) in a cloud environment 7+ total infrastructure/networking administration, 4+ years cloud administration experience Linux server administration Excellent written and verbal communication skills Desirable Skills 3+ years Azure-specific experience Microsoft Certifications such as AZ900 Experience with pfSense or similar firewall in a cloud environment Experience in a healthcare or related IT environment What We Provide Competitive salary (base salary range for this position is $110,000-$125,000) Medical, dental, and vision insurance Life insurance options 401K benefits Generous PTO, including paid Holidays Remote work environment with an emphasis on work-life balance
