Please apply or call one of us to learn more For further inquiries regarding the following opportunity, please contact one of our Talent Specialists Lavanya at Saravanan at Anand at Title: IT Security Analyst II (REMOTE) Location: Remote Duration: 6 Months Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assists senior staff in the evaluation, development, implementation and operational aspects of security standards, procedures and guidelines for multiple platforms and diverse systems environments (e.g., firm-wide, distributed, client server systems, and e-applications). Assists in the review, development, testing and implementation of security plans, products and control techniques (e.g., password administration, intrusion detection software, data encryption, data backup and recovery). Helps to coordinate the reporting of data security incidents and may participate in investigations. Provides technical support to clients, management and staff in risk assessments and implementation of appropriate data security procedures and products Performs access control and account administration of critical information resources including data access rules tables. May act as a liaison to the product groups and assist them in the implementation of security technologies and application security. Identifies and escalates changes that will affect information security policy, standards and procedures. Skills, Knowledge and Abilities

  1. Strong understanding of security policy construction and publication.
  2. Knowledge of regulations (i.e., SOX, privacy, etc.) and internal controls as they apply to IT.
  3. Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  4. Strong communications and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with peers, IT management and staff, and internal/external business partners/clients.
  5. Ability to manage various technical projects to completion.
  6. Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office suite and other business related software systems. Other technologies will apply dependent on business area supported.
  7. Preferred insurance industry knowledge.

Education and Experience

  1. Bachelor’s degree in COmputer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
  2. Typically up to two years of technical experience in the security aspects of multiple platforms, operating systems, software, communications and network protocols or an equivalent combination.
