Remote Digital Content Developer Job at The Midtown Group #vacancy #remote

We are hiring a digital content strategist to work on a on making web pages/sites more mobile friendly. Must be able to do basic CMS development along with have content management experience. This job is 100% remote but you must be located in Texas and because it is with a government entity you must be a US Citizen. Work can be done after hours but you must be available for meetings during the day as necessary. Required Qualifications Experience with similar content management systems (WordPress, Drupal, Wix, etc) Strong understanding of how content and design fit together to make useful websites Knowledge of web standards and best practices related to accessibility, usability, and writing for the web Experience managing and publishing websites, with a focus on content strategy and information architecture Knowledge base and support for decisions based on data, analytics, research, trends, and best practices Ability to determine what page structure, template, and content type are appropriate to meet user needs and marketing goals Excellent everyday communication skills, both oral and written Experience communicating with clients of varying levels of technical and creative expertise in a professional setting Proven ability to work on multiple priorities simultaneously Preferred Qualifications Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft Office Experience with design and prototyping tools like Figma Experience with content management systems Professional experience with higher education issues and audiences Basic understanding of modern HTML and CSS Proven ability to train or consult on client/partner challenges with site creation, page layout, and content strategy
