We are currently seeking a remote, contract Data Operations Analyst to join our dynamic team, for our proxy shareholder voting season. In this role, you will provide support of tabulation functions, including reconciliation of voting entitlement, and vote report generation. You will have a strong focus on “starting with the end in mind”, in order to break down the work into process steps and plans. The work hours will be 9 AM – 6 PM ET, with some overtime required. This is a remote role where you will work off-site. Travel is limited and generally used for team learning and collaboration meetings. Responsibilities: Navigates and enters data into departmental Access database and Proxy Plus tabulation system Operates Microsoft programs Outlook, Access, and Excel, working largely with numbers within Excel Communicates effectively and prioritizes tasks at hand and escalates issues as appropriate in a timely manner Develops an effective working relationship with each team member as well as internal departments, values and leverages diverse perspectives Anticipates challenges and identifies solutions Supports and contributes to Broadridge’s client centric culture, taking ownership of client satisfaction and retention Manages multiple concurrent tasks with proficiency and accuracy Requirements: Education and/or experience equivalent to a BS degree in Business Administration, Computer Sciences, or fields related to Statistics/Mathematics preferred Some experience within proxy/financial services environment with resultant knowledge of the securities industry, and related products/client service preferred Exhibits the ability to actively listen, comprehend, and execute Displays excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent ability to understand the scope of each project, prioritizes tasks, and effectively manages time Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Access and Outlook Availability to work overtime hours during busy times Must have Internet and own computer with Windows 10 The pay range for this position is $21.00 – $23.00 per hour.
