We are looking for a strong Full-Stack Developer who has experience in developing web-based applications utilizing JavaScript on the front-end and python on the backend. This can be a REMOTE position. You will be working with Sr. Level Engineers that will help you build the next generation payment solutions. **Ideal candidates will have Fintech, Payment Processing or ATM experience** Responsibilities:
- Writing reusable, testable, and efficient code
- Integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Implementation of security and data protection
- Work with various customers both internally and externally to build efficient solutions to facilitate their jobs.
- Extend the design of our architecture
- Assist in mentoring other junior developers in best practices and process for SDLC of our tech stack.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of JavaScript, Python(Django), HTML5, and CSS3
- Experienced with JQuery, Postgres, Bootstrap, Linux OS and other frameworks such as Backbone.js, Angular, etc.
- Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries
- Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
- Familiarity with event-driven programming in Python
- Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform
- Strong unit test and debugging skills
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools GIT
- Prior experience in financial services technical development preferred.
- BS in CS or similar required and 5 years of experience minimum.
- MS in CS or similar preferred.
