The Role
We are seeking a skilled data scientist to enhance our data science, analytics, and intelligence capabilities. You will work with time-series data, applying a range of data science and machine learning techniques to extract valuable insights for our customers. Collaborating with our software team, you will implement innovative solutions on our data analytics platform. Your work will support product development, business intelligence, and sales projects.
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Implementing a wide range of analytics to automatically extract insights from our data feeds.
- Collaborating with business analysts and software engineers to design innovative solutions for client challenges.
- Designing algorithms and experiments to support new product development opportunities.
- Processing, cleaning, and verifying the integrity of data used for analysis.
- Tracking and reporting on KPIs for various use cases.
- Creating automated event and anomaly detection models and monitoring their performance.
- Staying current with the latest technologies and techniques, implementing those that enhance our data science capabilities.
- Conducting research, developing prototypes, and proofs of concept.
About You
We are considering applicants with a range of skills and backgrounds. Some of the things we are looking for include:
- 5+ years of experience in data science or data analytics roles.
- Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.
- Solid working knowledge of data science techniques and tools.
- Experience working with time-series data.
- Passion for solving complex problems efficiently.
- Applied statistics skills.
- Experience with machine learning techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively within a remote team.
