About the Role: In this opportunity as DevOps Release Engineer (Remote), you will: Conduct software release activities Effectively communicate with internal teams and external customers Provide support to Developers, QA, and Operations on internal and external client environments Develop, improve, enforce, and document release automation process Create and maintain internal and external (client) environment policies, diagrams, documentation, best practices, and specifications About You You’re a fit for the role of DevOps Release Engineer (Remote) if your background includes: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Related Field, or Equivalent Experience Ideally 3-5 years of practical experience with Azure/DevOps Experience with or knowledge of Microsoft Azure (or equivalent) infrastructure, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, network security groups, application gateways, virtual machines, databases, storage, and backups. Experience managing Kubernetes clusters at a production level Experience building, deploying, and managing containerized infrastructure via Kubernetes. Experience utilizing automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and Jenkins. Windows and Linux administration experience. Apache Tomcat experience is a plus Database admin experience with Microsoft SQL Server. Experience with build/releasing software in a J2EE environment Working knowledge of SCM (software configuration management) best practices and applications. Experience using scripting and markup languages (e.g. YAML, Perl, Groovy, etc.). Experience with automated builds (e.g. Jenkins), deployments to multiple environments as well as set up monitors to ensure availability of systems. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $78,500 – $145,900. The location(s) for this role include one or more of the following states: CA, CO, CT, IL, NV, TX, WA and/or remote. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $71,400 – $132,600. The base compensation range in other locations may vary. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity.
