The Senior Software Developer will work on new and existing projects currently being developed. The duties will primarily revolve around building software by writing code, as well as modifying software to fix bugs and errors, adapt it to new business requirements to improve performance and user experience. Involved in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) as well as working with business partners and business analyst to help plan, design and delivery solution the solve business requirements. Leads software development projects in an agile team environment and leads junior level members on the team.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Collaborating with management, departments and customers to identify end-user requirements and specifications Interpretation specifications and requirements to designing applications, solving technical issues and build solutions. Producing efficient and elegant code based on requirements and specifications Testing and deploying programs and applications Troubleshooting, debugging, maintaining and improving existing software solutions Compiling and assessing user feedback to improve software solutions Ensure solutions have proper documentation and regularly updated Collaborating with fellow developers to solve problems and build solutions as they arise Passionate about staying on top of tech trends especially in cloud, experimenting with and learning new technologies Drive implementation of new and emerging technologies, platforms, processes and standards Guides and leads architecture design and programming of software applications PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS: Sitting for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; standing for up to 7 hours per day, 4 hours at a time; walking for up to 2 hours a day, 1 hour at a time. Seeing as it relates to general, near, color, and peripheral vision. Hearing as it relates to normal and telephone conversations. EDUCATION: Bachelorās degree in computer science, Information Systems or related field is preferred or equivalent work experience. ServiceNow Admin certification required. ServiceNow Developer Certification highly desirable. ITIL V3 or higher Foundation Certification preferred. TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: Required: Up to date ServiceNow Certified System Administrator Certification 6+ yearsā experience as a ServiceNow developer or 8 yearsā experience in software development required Experience implementing/configuring Service Catalog, Request Management, Incident Management, Configuration Management Database (CMDB), Asset Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management, Demand Management, Application Portfolio Management, Common Service Data Model, Virtual Agent, Configuring the IRE Experience building catalog items with various workflows. Experience with designing/configuring ITSM using JavaScript, AJAX and HTML Experience creating/configuring Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, and Access Lists in ServiceNow. Experience with integrations with these varieties of protocols: REST, SOAP, JDBC, and ODBC Experience with workflow administration, ServiceNow reporting, form/UI configurations, notifications, data imports and custom scripting. Experience managing clone schedules. Experience with JAMF and SCCM Service Graph Connectors Experience with Flow Designer Experience in developing and assisting staff in the execution and support of Release and Testing Management best practices. Experience managing data with Tables, the CMDB, Import Sets, and Update Sets. Experience developing standards for development team. Experience with developer peer review processes Technology certifications in various software development platforms will be considered as experience is the related discipline. Previous healthcare experience preferred. 1 ā 2 years of Project Management is preferred. ServiceNow (required).
