1. Able to communicate technical concepts including presenting and whiteboarding
2. Ability to design and implement architectures within AWS utilizing Databricks
3. Hands on Experience writing Pyspark pipelines in Databricks
4. Minimum 5 7 years of experience with Python Spark and the Hadoop ecosystem
5. Experience with SQL and relational databases
6. Self starter motivated and good communication skills
7. Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completion
8. A core strength in data engineering and not data science

Responsibilities

1. Provide thought leadership in the sphere of big data analytics
2. Define the target state architecture design assist in implementation and deployment
3. Integrate Databricks with AWS to support the architecture
