Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist with a strong background in Large Language Model operations (LLMops) and proficiency in the Azure AI tech stack. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience customizing models such as Whisper and Mistral, and be adept at managing LLM deployment, performance monitoring, and maintenance.
Responsibilities:
- Customize and optimize LLMs, including Whisper and Mistral models, to meet specific business needs.
- Develop and manage AI enrichment pipelines, optimize queries, and implement efficient indexing strategies.
- Build and maintain APIs using frameworks like Semantic Kernel to support various AI applications.
- Oversee the deployment, performance monitoring, and maintenance of LLMs.
- Work closely with a cross-functional team of 15 AI, ML, and Advanced Analytics professionals to support and enhance AI initiatives.
- Participate in Agile practices to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative working environment.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience with Azure AI tech stack, including Azure AI Search.
- Proficiency in LLMops, including customizing Whisper and Mistral models.
- Strong background in Python (C# experience is a plus).
- Experience with API development and frameworks like Semantic Kernel.
