The Position

As Accounting & Reporting Professional (Business Process) you will be part of the Business Process Management ( BPM ) Transparency & Financial Sustainability Reporting function at Roche. In this role, you will be responsible for the global business reporting processes in the area of Transparency and Sustainability reporting in your specified focus area. You will drive continuous global harmonization, standardization, improvement and automation initiatives of the reporting processes with a focus on master data. You will work in close collaboration with stakeholders from affiliates, partnering projects and global Finance, Compliance, Legal, IT and other functions both divisionally and cross divisionally.

Your Responsibilities

  • Actively pursue the implementation of the E2E BPM strategy, according to guardrails set by the E2E GBPO (Global Business Process Owner) and GBPMs (Global Business Process Managers)

  • Support the design of the E2E reporting processes (definition of methodological rules, data collection, validation, corrections and reporting) aiming at process harmonization and full compliance to regulatory requirements (e.g. EFPIA, Sunshine Act and similar local regulations) with a focus on master data

  • Work closely with relevant stakeholders to implement E2E reporting processes that are state-of-the-art and in alignment with the BPM strategy and guidance

  • Drive and deliver short-term improvements of the master data quality (i.e. customers and vendors) relevant for Transparency and Sustainability reporting

  • Establish, maintain and govern a sustainable reporting process to ensure high master data quality incl. guidelines and standard operating procedures

  • Contribute to partner projects, provide advice and guidance for his/her area of responsibility

  • Monitor adherence to standard processes and design and implement actions to improve process compliance

  • Prioritize and implement change requests in line with the E2E BPM area strategy

Who You Are

  • You hold Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field

  • You built 5 – 7 years of professional work experience in Finance consolidation/reporting and/or Master Data Management

  • You built expertise in Transparency Reporting and respective laws and regulations (EFPIA/MedTech, Sunshine Acts, etc.)

  • You built advanced technical competencies in SAP FI/CO, Procurement, Transparency Laws and Regulations

  • You are comfortable handling ambiguity and taking decisions

  • You built advanced conflict management and influencing skills, and are able to consider/balance interests of senior stakeholders from different functions

  • You have an Agile mindset (speed, stability, flexibility) and are experienced working and applying agile ways of working in daily operations

  • You are able to identify and lead change initiatives

  • You bring customer centric mindset both internally and externally

  • You built experience working in larger organizations with matrix structures and multicultural teams

  • You bring exceptional analytical and problem solving skills

  • You bring exceptional organizational and time management skills, and are able to prioritize multiple tasks and goals to ensure timely and high quality accomplishment

  • Proven methodological skills e.g. Business Process Management, Six Sigma, SCRUM/agile ways of working), continuous improvement (Lean, PDCA, Kaizen)

  • Good collaboration, teamwork and interpersonal skills

  • Business fluency in English

Important note

In case hired in Riga (Latvia), the salary starts from 2300 EUR gross/monthly . Final salary depends on the successful candidate’s level of experience, skills and qualifications.
