With Us You Will
- Design and Implementation: Design and implement real-time data processing systems and develop data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze streaming data from media sources, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
- Architecture Planning: Develop architectural plans at the application level, including defining data models, system components, and integration points to support media-related use cases such as content recommendation, audience segmentation, or advertising targeting.
- Performance Optimization: Optimize performance at the function level by identifying bottlenecks, implementing efficient algorithms and data structures, and fine-tuning data processing workflows to meet latency and throughput requirements.
- Monitoring and Alerting: Creating and maintaining pipeline alerting and monitoring tools.
- Code and Design Oversight: Participate in code and design reviews, provide feedback to team members, and approve code changes (PR) and component designs to ensure code quality, maintainability, and alignment with architectural guidelines and project objectives.
Qualifications
What We Expect From You
- SQL Proficiency: Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation, querying, and analysis within a variety of database systems, including relational databases and data warehouses.
- Python Programming: Proficiency in Python programming language for data manipulation, automation, and scripting tasks related to data engineering workflows and analysis.
- Big Data Technologies: Experience with distributed data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Apache Flink for large-scale data processing, analysis, and computation.
- Workflow Orchestration: Familiarity with workflow orchestration tools like Apache Airflow, Luigi, or Apache Oozie to automate, schedule, and monitor data engineering pipelines and workflows.
- Data Catalogue and Quality Assurance: Experience with data cataloging tools and practices for metadata management, data lineage tracking, and data discovery, as well as implementing data quality assurance processes to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
