The city of Schenefeld, a young, lively and future-oriented city, located in the Hamburg metropolitan region, is looking for a permanent position for mainly the Schenefeld schools at the earliest possible date.

IT specialist (f/m/d)

full-time or part-time with at least 30 hours per week.

Your tasks:

  • Administration of school hardware and software including optimization and documentation
  • Ensuring the usability of the school’s IT structure, including troubleshooting and rectification of hardware and software/clients
  • Maintenance and support of other IT components in the school area, e.g. interactive whiteboards, projectors, laptop trolleys, etc.
  • Continuation and further development of information technology and media education concepts for the Schenefeld schools
  • User support, support for the schools’ digitalization process
  • Advice and involvement in procurements for the expansion of school IT infrastructures
  • Procurement of IT equipment for schools as part of ongoing maintenance
  • Implementation of data protection regulations for the area and ongoing review
  • Support for the city library in the areas of network issues, hardware and visitor advice on hardware issues
  • Support for the VHS building in the areas of network issues, hardware and IT peripherals

Your profile:

  • You have completed a relevant university degree, e.g. computer science,
    or
  • Completed vocational training in IT or IT management or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience at graduate computer scientist level
  • Several years of relevant professional experience in the support of PC workstations and other IT peripherals in medium to large network environments with a heterogeneous user structure is required
  • You have analytical skills
  • Your way of working is solution-oriented and structured
  • You have above-average commitment and absolute reliability
  • Independent and responsible work appeals to you
  • Team spirit, collegiality and a friendly demeanor are important to you
  • the willingness to undergo further training in the field of information technology and data protection is a matter of course for you
