Description Overview

We are excited to be recruiting for a Business Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Hungary based in our Budapest office.

This position will suit an FMCG/OTC professional who is seeking a new challenge and has the desire to make a difference. As the Business Intelligence Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in owning data collection and reporting of the local business, being a critical partner to the Local and Cluster leadership team. Reporting to the commercial lead in Hungary, you will partner with the local team to deliver best in business understanding for the local market.

Scope of the Role

Enable delivery of Business Goals & Commercial Strategy for the Country through commercial business intelligence

  • A key partner delivering data reporting to the local & cluster leadership team to support delivery of business goals
  • Primary responsibility to retrieve, combine, structure & summarise sales (sell in, sell out & DVRP) data from commercial teams, creating dynamic dashboards that show actionable insights 
  • Collaboration with stakeholders to gather requirements & understand business needs

Develop Leading Business Intelligence Principles

  • Data partner for commercial teams to support working through commercial challenges and opportunities
  • Data visualisation expert: Create reports & dashboards through various tools, including but not limited to PowerBI & Excel that serve the business needs
  • Interpret local & central systems, mapping data together to facilitate ‘One Perrigo’ source of truth across functions
  • Identify automation & process improvement opportunities, working with technical teams to implement solutions
  • Set up connections to underlying databases (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, IRI, Nielsen, IQVIA) & build data models that map sources together in a SQL Datawarehouse

Build Capability & Enable Success

  • Optimize processes & tools for maximum efficiency and impact
  • Support local team in their transformation from Excel dependency to dynamic/visual dashboard capability, enabling more data-driven decision making. Provide local advice & coaching. 
  • Lead deployment, training & adoption of deployed dashboards/reports, providing continuous improvement of user adoption & sophistication of insights 
  • Proactive contributor across the CSCI Business Intelligence community contributing share & re apply 
  • Key partner to the cluster, central and local commercial community, working to build community capability

Experience Required

 

  • University degree
  • Minimum 3-4 years of commercial business analytics and building data visualization
  • Technically proficient with Ability to extract, organise & interpret data from multiple sources including SAP, Busi-ness Objects, Salesforce.com, & other tools as necessary. Ability to quickly learn software applications or other new technology needed to conduct analysis
  • Data driven with proven experience utilising data driven analytics to review performance and drive real-time improvements
  • Strong communications and interpersonal skills with the ability to take data, interpret it and communicate the story effectively
  • Naturally curious – you will bring a growth mindset and embrace new challenges fostering a culture of continuous learning and adaptation
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in driving initiatives, process development or improvement & problem solving. Demonstrate ability to collaborate, influence, & work effectively with internal and external customers at all levels of an organisation
  • Results Oriented: Ability to own & handle multiple priorities; strong organisation & time management skills, with an ability to work autonomously
  • Proven experience managing analytically rigorous corporate programs
  • Proven history of designing and building reports & dashboards in Excel and PowePoint with preference for Microsoft Power BI, or other similar data visualisation tools
  • Preference for experience with IQVIA/Nielsen or other syndicated data sources
  • Preference for experience with CRM systems
  • Fluent English and Hungarian language skills spoken and written
