We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Data Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of data engineering tools and practices, who is eager to develop their skills and contribute to meaningful projects. The successful candidate will be instrumental in the design, construction, installation, testing, and maintenance of highly scalable data management systems. You’ll enjoy the flexibility to work remotely * from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: Assist in building and maintaining robust, scalable data integration pipelines Develop and maintain datasets for analysis and data reporting tools Write complex SQL queries for data manipulation and retrieval Utilize programming languages like Python and R to perform data analysis and automate tasks Work with Databricks for big data processing and analytics Utilize SAS for advanced analytics, multivariate analyses, business intelligence, and data management Create visualizations and reports using Power BI Manage both relational and non-relational databases Collaborate with team members on cloud platforms to deploy data pipelines and ensure optimal performance Participate in the continuous improvement of data engineering practices Adapt to changing project requirements and business needs, demonstrating flexibility and resilience You’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
