The Information Security Strategy and Analytics team is seeking an experienced data engineering professional to build and support data processing and reporting for Information Security leaders and partners. This role will support the entire data pipeline from ingestion, normalization, and aggregation through the development of reporting and visualizations designed to drive change within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have strong data engineering and business intelligence experience and will have worked closely with information security teams to develop leadership-focused reporting.
In this role you’ll be responsible for:
Creating, maintaining, and enhancing dashboards to provide executive management and other stakeholders with clear, concise, and actionable insights into our security posture and operational health.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop reporting aligned with organizational goals.
Working closely with data source owners and customers to understand, ingest, standardize, analyze, and summarize quantitative and qualitative data.
Developing and maintaining documentation including data lineage, metric definitions, and reporting processes.
Tools and skills you will use in this role:
Python programming for data exploration, integration, and manipulation
AWS data handling tools such as Glue, S3, and Athena
Design and use of AWS CI/CD tooling for code management and production deployment
Dbt (data build tool) for data pipeline development
SQL for data querying and summarization
Report development using Power BI
