Job Description A client of Insight Global is looking for a skilled Full Stack .Net Developer to sit fully remote fulltime for a client in the Rail Industry. You will be working on a suite of large enterprise microservice applications being developed for both internal and external customers in an agile environment based on the need/priority from a blended backlog. The position requires involvement in all aspects of development including design, data modeling, implementation, and testing. These existing applications are developed primarily in .NET Core, utilizing many cloud and Kubernetes technologies. We are looking for an individual who can understand and work on existing products as well as help and maintain said products/applications, while also contributing to new development. You will partner closely with a business liaison to enhance the applications based on the business needs of the organization and help execute/maintain documentation. This role is a mix of heads-down development and interacting with business users. The ideal candidate can quickly understand and contribute to existing products, able to collaborate/communicate proficiently with all levels of the organization and is solutions-oriented and able to solve complex problems. - 3-5+ years of experience with C# .NET Core development in an enterprise environment.
- 3+ years of experience with React.
- 5+ years of SQL (Relational Database) Experience / NoSQL database (Document Database) experience.
- 1+ years of experience working within an Azure environment (Other cloud development experience is a plus.)
- Experience working with Azure DevOps.
- Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes, application containerization and development.
- Experience working with Microservices.
- Experience developing using a DDD approach.
- Experience with Git SCM
- Experience with Build and release (CI/CD) pipelines. * Railroad industry experience (Car Hire Accounting)
