IT Specialist:in Client & Software Management
The area of responsibility includes
- Administration of Windows servers (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, IIS, group policies etc.).
- Administration of the virtualization infrastructure consisting of the following products:
- Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops (XenApp)
- Citrix Netscaler ADC
- VMware VSphere Cluster
- Client management: Central management of hardware and software with the products MS MECM (SCCM) and IGEL UMS (ThinClients)
- Monitoring and maintenance of endpoint security products in the client and server environment
- Second/third-level support in the area of responsibility
- Collaboration in the further development and planning of the IT infrastructure
- Creation and maintenance of operational documentation
What is expected
- Degree (e.g. computer science, business informatics, mathematics, physics, communications engineering or engineering sciences) or comparable qualification or proven equivalent skills and experience (e.g. through many years of relevant professional experience that qualifies for the advertised position)
- Ability to work independently, very good teamwork and communication skills
- Experience or training in the operation of IT infrastructures (servers, networks, databases, storage systems or similar)
- Sound knowledge of MS Office products desirable
- Experience in the MS Active Directory environment
- Experience/knowledge in one or more of the following areas desirable:
- Citrix Virtual Apps & Desktops
- User profile management
- Software distribution and software packaging
- Client and server management
