CodiLime is a software and network engineering industry expert and the first-choice service partner for top global networking hardware providers, software providers and telecoms. We create proofs-of-concept, help our clients build new products, nurture existing ones and provide services in production environments. Our clients include both tech startups and big players in various industries and geographic locations (US, Japan, Israel, Europe).

The project and the team
We are looking for an open-minded person who will be responsible for delivering the client’s requirements and supporting the development team. The project involves automating networking solutions in specific products which are offered to some of the biggest IT companies in the world.
You will join a project where you will independently develop one of our products, innovative solutions developed by other teams. Tools and technology will not limit you in everyday tasks. You will also be a key person in designing solutions.
Things to know:
- Our projects can be managed by our EMs or directly by the client
- We use KANBAN or SCRUM methodology
- The client is based in the US
We work on multiple interesting projects at the time, so it may happen that we’ll invite you to the interview for another project if we see that your competencies and profile are well suited for it.
Your role
As a part of the project, you will be responsible for:
- Designing, implementing and developing Open-source solutions
- Automating the processes of configuring large networks
- Troubleshooting existing solutions and proposing improvements to existing systems
- Discussing new features with product owners and potential clients
Do we have a match?
As a Python Engineer you must meet the following criteria:
- Very good knowledge of Python and Ansible (preferably developing Ansible Modules in Python)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good knowledge of public clouds: AWS, Azure
- Knowledge of automation and CI/CD tools (GitHub workflows)
- Good knowledge and experience with computer network configuration, technologies, and protocols (e.g., Ethernet, TCP, UDP, DHCP, DNS…)
- Experience with virtualization, especially KVM, Libvirt or VMware ESXi (vSphere, Center)
- Good communication skills, English at least B2+ level
