As a Globus Developer , you will be working for our client, one of the leaders in online banking. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of their central banking system, ensuring the smooth operation and advancement of critical functionalities. Your expertise in jBASIC and C# will be instrumental in delivering high-quality software solutions and automated tests. This position offers an exciting opportunity to deepen your knowledge in both IT and banking while collaborating with a dynamic and innovative team.
Your main responsibilities: Develop software in jBASIC and C#
- Create and maintain new and existing functionalities in the central banking system
- Develop and maintain automated tests of various types
- Ensure the quality of the code
- Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions
- Engage in continuous learning in both IT and banking fields
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in the banking system
- Document development processes and software updates
- Contribute to a positive and collaborative team atmosphere
You’re ideal for this role if you have:
- Fluency in Polish
- A desire to deepen your knowledge in both IT and banking
- Commitment and openness to new tasks
- A degree in Computer Science or are in your final year of study
- Ability to work effectively in a team
- Willingness to grow and foster a collaborative work environment
- Proficiency in jBASIS and C#
- Experience with automated testing frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and code quality
- Excellent communication skills
Nice to have:
- Good knowledge of C++ or C#/.NET Framework
- Familiarity with jBASIC/jBASE
- Knowledge of non-relational or multi-value databases
- Understanding of banking products and the Temenos Globus/T24 system is an additional advantage
