Automotive Steering Column Ltd. operates as an independent division of the Bosch Group. Our company develops, manufactures and markets steering columns for passenger cars and commercial vehicles worldwide and is a supplier to 109 automotive manufacturers. The company is headquartered in Germany. In addition to our plant in Eger, we have 20 other locations, giving us a personal presence in the most important markets.

Job Description

Goal:

The process of making complex acoustic and electrotechnical measurements.

Tasks:

  • You take over the planning, execution, analysis and documentation of complex acoustic and electrotechnical measurements on steering columns and their components
  • You support the further development of acoustic measurement methods and analysis
  • The development of control methods for electric motors lies in your area of responsibility
    • Including planning, design and creation of electronic circuits for the control of DC and EC motors
    • Programming of microcontrollers (e.g. Arduino)
  • The usage of various measuring equipment in the test laboratory is one of your tasks
  • You work in international project and specialist teams.
  • Qualification and calibration of the end of line testers in the production, handling and analyzing of Anovis files.

Qualifications

  • A university degree (Bachelor or Master) in one of the following fields: technical acoustics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering or a comparable degree
  • Experience in the field of experimental design and methods, as well as acoustic measurement technology incl. appropriate analysis software (e.g., HEAD Acoustic, ArtemiS) desirable
  • Technical basics in electric drives and gearboxes
  • Experience in programming with Matlab or Phyton and Arduino
  • Strong interest in electrical engineering, control engineering and experimental work
  • Independent, structured and careful way of working
  • Team and communication skills, initiative and motivation
  • Responsibility and quality awareness
  • Very good spoken and written Hungarian and English knowledge (German or French is advantage)
