The Data and Analytics Enablement (DAE) team at ALSAC is at the forefront of data-driven transformation. Were seeking an
Architect – Data Visualization & Enablement
.
As a key member, youll collaborate with analytics teams, data experts, and business stakeholders to accelerate our mission of improving lives through data and analytics.
Responsibilities:
Craft Engaging Visuals:
Own a set of data visualizations, continuously evolving them to increase sophistication while remaining user-friendly. Your work will answer critical business questions and drive informed decisions.
Insightful Metrics:
Design and develop metrics and information that facilitate insight discovery. Collaborate with technical staff, analytical teams, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment with business goals.
Analytical Data Sets:
Define, design, and develop analytical data sets for stakeholders across the organization. Conduct research and usability testing to enhance data accessibility.
Data Profiling and Strategy:
Profile potential new data sources and develop strategies for ingesting and reshaping data for analytical purposes.
Stay Ahead of Trends:
Keep abreast of emerging business intelligence trends, technologies, tools, and approaches. Evaluate and recommend new methodologies and tools.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelors degree (preferably in computer science, statistics, mathematics, or economics) or equivalent experience.
Experience:
At least 3-5 years in data analysis, with 5+ years focused on data storytelling and visualization.
Tools:
Significant experience with business intelligence and visualization tools. Tableau desktop certification is a strong plus.
Design Skills:
Excellent design skills, creating easy to use interfaces that leverage the full capability set of platforms.
Technical Proficiency:
Working knowledge of descriptive statistics (correlations, trends, distributions) to showcase key insights. Strong SQL skills and database expertise.
Communication:
Exceptionally clear communicator, able to engage both technical and business audiences.
Attention to Detail:
Extremely detail-oriented, proud of your end products, and a role model for the visualization team.
Passion:
Energized by challenges and excited about using data and analytics to improve lives.
