The Associate Software Engineer defines, develops, tests, analyzes, and maintains software applications. This includes being involved in understanding the business impact of the necessary work and creating solutions to realize that impact by researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software specifications throughout the development life cycle. Collaborate with customers, stakeholders, developers, and other team members in the conceptualization and development of new or existing software applications. Assist in the definition, development, and documentation of software’s objectives, deliverables, and specifications in collaboration with internal users and departments. Help research, identify, analyze, and fulfill requirements of all internal and external users and stakeholders. Create software to enhance functionality and performance of applications. Perform software testing on new and existing programs for the purposes of correcting errors and general debugging. Operate and monitor software for performance, maintenance needs, and ongoing success. Participate in defining software development plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation. Deploy software through lower environments upon completion of development, testing, and documentation. May provide product and software support for bugs, issues, and escalated incident tickets from end users to resolve application and software issues. Partner with others in resolving problems with software products or company software systems. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, a related field or equivalent work experience; or Associate’s degree with work experience in a related field 1-2 years of experience applying training and education. Understanding of software development approaches and best practices Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of .Net/C# programming Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of modern UI technologies and/or JavaScript Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of database and operating systems Demonstrated knowledge in modern development approaches, functional, object-oriented, procedural, cloud.
