AWS Cloud Engineer

Rate: $60-65/hr on a W2, 2-3 month Contract, Fully Remote

Del Oro Consulting, a national consulting solutions provider with 20+ years’ experience delivering consulting services to global technology leaders in the US is seeking an AWS Cloud Engineer to work with our client, a tech giant. 

PLEASE NOTE: This is a temporary, 2-3 month remote consulting opportunity. 

Required Skills:

  • Assess the current data structure and volume in Amazon Neptune.
  • Develop and implement a strategy to extract data from Neptune and transfer it to Amazon S3.
  • Ensure data integrity and security during the extraction and transfer processes.
  • Design and execute a plan to import data from Amazon S3 into PostgreSQL.
  • Optimize data transfer to ensure efficient loading into PostgreSQL.
  • Validate data accuracy and completeness post-migration.
  • Perform post-migration tests and verify the functionality of the data in PostgreSQL.

Required Skillset:

  • Proficient in SQL and experience with PostgreSQL.
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Neptune and graph databases.
  • Expertise in using AWS services, particularly S3, IAM, and Data Migration Service (DMS).
  • Knowledge of ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and tools.
  • Familiarity with data modeling and database schema design

  • Work Arrangement: Remote
  • Pay Rate, $60-$65/hour Consultant, 2-3 month Contract Opportunity on W2
