Senior level (ideally 5+ years) experience working with Python programming language and able to apply this experience towards building integration service components using cloud-based infrastructure (ex: exposing/consuming REST APIs, interacting with traditional RDBS technologies including Oracle and SQL server, bridging the gap between cloud native vs. legacy technology integration) Proven track record delivering event-based integrations using AWS cloud services (Lambda, SQS, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB) at a highly-scalable and global level (has integrated mission-critical systems spanning many geographies including Americas, Europe, and Asia) Versed in AWS well architected framework and able to promote resiliency and failure management aspects (rollback / retry / auto-recovery / self-healing capabilities) for mission-critical, event-driven system integrations Strong technical coach/mentor/guide for other product team developers transitioning from building/supporting legacy integration components (using commercial integration middleware tools and “database centric” architecture – ex: PL/SQL stored procedures, polling database tables) towards a more modern architecture using cloud-based, serverless technologies.
