About the project, Are you ready for an exciting challenge in cloud operations and support? We are looking for a dedicated Azure Cloud Operations Administrator. This role focuses on the maintenance, monitoring, and resolution of issues within our Azure cloud infrastructure. You’ll engage in a variety of tasks, collaborate with a great team, and enjoy the flexibility to work from anywhere in Poland., , Our company operates an extensive cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure with around 100 virtual instances. This infrastructure mainly consists of systems that have been migrated from on-premise to the cloud. Azure tools are used to monitor and manage the cloud resources in order to enable largely automated monitoring and reporting. We follow ITIL-like processes to ensure a high standard of incident management and compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Daily, weekly and monthly backups are performed automatically, with different retention times depending on the customer agreement. The Windows operating systems and databases are regularly updated and optimized to ensure high performance and stability. We use infrastructure-as-code methods to provide the infrastructure. Our standard DHC VISION software is installed using standardized procedures.
Your responsibilities, 1. Cloud Infrastructure Monitoring and Management:, • Use and implement Azure monitoring tools for automated monitoring of compute, storage, and network resources., • Ensure operational readiness and performance of cloud services through proactive monitoring and remediation of deviations within defined performance limits., , 2. Incident Management and SLA Adherence:, • Handle and resolve customer inquiries and issues according to ITIL-like processes., • Monitor and ensure compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)., , 3. Backup and Disaster Recovery:, • Manage and execute daily, weekly, and monthly backups with different retention periods as per customer agreements., • Automate and conduct recovery tests and generate corresponding reports., , 4. System and Software Maintenance:, • Maintain and update Windows operating systems and databases using automated processes., • Apply patches and hotfixes to ensure system stability and security., • Ensure database performance through index management and optimization., , 5. Performance Tuning and Log Analysis:, • Analyze and evaluate log files to troubleshoot and optimize performance., • Implement performance tuning measures to enhance database performance., , 6. Provisioning of Cloud Infrastructures and Software Installation:, • Utilize Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) methods to provision and manage cloud-based infrastructures., • Improve and standardize installation processes for the DHC VISION standard software.

System and Software Maintenance:, • Windows Systems: Strong knowledge of Windows OS and databases., • Patch Management: Experience with software updates and patches., • Performance Optimization: Skills in database indexing and performance tuning., , 5. Performance Tuning and Log Analysis:, • Log Analysis: Proficient in analyzing log files., • Performance Tuning: Ability to improve system and database performance., • Diagnostic Skills: Effective issue diagnosis and resolution., , 6. Provisioning of Cloud Infrastructures and Software Installation:, • IaC Tools: Experience with ARM templates, Terraform, or Ansible., • Software Installation: Proficient in installing and configuring software., • Standardization: Ability to develop standardized procedures for provisioning and installation.
