Job Description Job Description Hey there! We are building modern cybersecurity software that allows companies and organizations to connect and assess/validate each other’s security posture through questionnaires, assessments and attestation mechanisms. It’s an exciting space with enormous room to grow. As a small, but very bright and experienced team still early in our journey (at the MVP stage ready to get our first launch partner), we are looking for a BDR / SDR / Business Development contractor who has demonstrated experience successfully identifying and qualifying leads and opportunities in the enterprise B2B SaaS space with a focus on cybersecurity. Our ideal candidate is a high-energy individual who enjoys working in the dynamic, fast-paced and flexible world of startups and is willing and able to wear multiple hats to help us build out our BDR/SDR and sales organization from the ground up, including tooling, processes, messaging and supporting materials, and at the same time ready to perform lots of daily direct outreach across various channels so we can quickly sign up launch partners and (thereafter) paying customers. Being comfortable around CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, IT Security Analysts and similar personnel in our target markets is a must. For the right candidate, this position can easily evolve into a lucrative full time role if desired. Key responsibilities: Create targeted outreach materials for various target audiences and perform A/B testing Implement key tooling and processes to contact, identify, qualify and close sales leads (we currently use Apollo – open to CRM choice, etc.) including drip campaigns, sequences, and other engagement tools Perform daily high-quantity and high-quality cold outreach (emails, calls, direct messaging, etc.) Lead BDR/SDR calls and perform demos with prospects Sign up launch partners and paying customers as we grow our platform Continuously track BDR/SDR activity so we can measure performance against goals Qualifications: At least four (4) years of successful experience in enterprise B2B SaaS space At least a general understanding of the cybersecurity space (and willingness to deeply get into it) Provable track record of successfully selling (and/or supporting sales via a BDR role) of software with a subscription cost of at least $500/month or $6k/year Excellent written and verbal communication skills Significant experience with modern sales and marketing tooling Willing to work in a startup environment: Dynamic, fast-moving, not a proven BDR/Sales process (yet – that’s why you’re here!)
