Job Description
The “Retail Business Administration” hub has end-to-end responsibility for the complete IT support of the Telekom Shops in Germany. Starting with determining potential Shop locations, designing and equipping the Telekom shops with IT (including retail-specific devices), up to supplying the Telekom shops with Goods, Workforce Management planning and provisioning of sales employees.
Our vision is to create the technical basis for the best cross-channel shopping and service experience together with our specialist partners and the digital hubs in the domain CSSE – Customer Sales & Service Experience. With the applications and IT services we are responsible for, we ensure that stationary retail business and, increasingly, digital sales interfaces can be operated in the best possible way. Through close cooperation with the specialist sites and other digital hubs, we want to leverage synergies across the sales channels in order to achieve greater bundling of channels and thus improve the processes in front of the end customer and make them more innovative. We want to drive forward the digitalization of the retail business and thus support the transformation of PK / PVG.
You will be part of a Scrum Team for Development and Maintenance of the SPOTS and Shopplaner Applications. These applications are master for the administration of the Shop Locations and planning of the Shop layout. Next to that also workflows for modification activities in shop locations is supported. The Applications consist of Java Backend Systems and corresponding modern Web Front Ends based on Oracle Database.
You will manage new Requirements for the applications. This means next to the coordination with Business, new requirements have to be specified for implementation by the Dev Team.
Communication with Business and planning for the implementation will also be your responsibility.
