The Role We are looking for a Business Consultant / Sales Engineer to join our Solutions and Consulting (S&C) Team and drive success in our Insurance Solutions Business. CCC’s S&C SEs are part of a matrix go-to-market team and they are engaged in the life-cycle of sales from customer acquisition through implementation hand-off. S&C SEs interact with senior-level business leaders, uncovering business goals and metrics of success. They develop solutions that include CCC offerings, create POC or MVP designs that prove out CCC solutions’ value, and provide success analysis by transforming data to insights. They are integral in supporting sales and account managers by recommending solutions and developing strategies around CCC’s products. Additionally, S&C SEs serves as the eyes and ears to our market and identify opportunities to enhance CCC’s product suite by working with the broader CCC team to bring new and enhanced solutions to market. Knowledge of Auto and Casualty insurance vertical claims processes and insurance operations is a plus, but not required. We have a structured program for you to learn the ins and outs of the insurance industry. Key Responsibilities: Provide Pre- Sales, Consulting, and Advisory services to CCC’s largest Insurance carrier clients, specifically: Leverage strategic and operational business consulting skills to help clients create more efficient processes, develop and implement cost-effective solutions, increase overall customer satisfaction, and drive increased usage of CCC solutions. Conduct detailed analysis, case studies, and process reviews to elevate and enhance customers’ businesses. Support CCC’s growth trajectory through contribution to the sales process by leveraging consultative skills to identify opportunities to grow customer usage of CCC solutions. Conduct analysis of large data sets to identify trends and insights that are impactful to clients’ businesses. Provide actionable insights to clients based on the analysis. Development of value proposition material for CCC product suite and serve as a product expert for our clients and account teams. Development of repeatable client engagement material both for internal and external projects (i.e. process reviews, sales approach, software pilots, etc.) Work with CCC’s Product Development organization to identify and request solution enhancements. Requirements: Customer-centric approach and passion for client service. 3+ years of experience with a top tier consulting, technology or software company. Intellectual curiosity and ability to dig deep, understand the big picture, consider unintended consequences, and identify causes behind symptoms. Strong ability to build trust and relationships with clients as well as internal stakeholders. Ability to quickly understand business processes, diagnose issues, identify efficiency opportunities, and evaluate feasibility of improvement opportunities. Adept at business case requirement gathering, including ability to confidently draw out necessary data by asking questions that lead to meaningful conclusions Executive presence, exceptional communication and presentation skills, comfort leading discussions and presenting to clients and senior leadership. Bachelor’s degree required.
