What is your impact: The focus of this role is on the development and maintenance of an internal website and related reporting for the Wellness team, though other Care areas may also be supported. Job requires the ability to talk with team members and other colleagues to determine business needs informing the development and implementation of solutions using tools like Visual Studio, HTML, ASP, and SQL Server. Team member will have additional responsibility for designing complex queries and views for ad hoc work and during the Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) process, so experience in processing and integrating data from various sources is essential. The job requires accurate data analysis, and the team member should ensure system controls protect website confidentiality, integrity, and availability. Incumbents should be able to work independently and are expected to interact with IT counterparts as needed. What are your responsibilities: Design, develop, test, implement, and support departmental website using Visual Studio, HTML, ASP, and SQL Server. Partner with others to identify and implement the tools, technologies, applications, and practices used to collect, integrate, analyze, and present data to create insightful and actionable business information; establish interactive visualizations and web-based front-end software applications for the team; collaborate with others to write detailed business and technical specifications. Design and development of complex queries and views (using tools such as Toad, SQL Server, etc.) used during the ETL process. What is required: 6 years recent website development experience Experience with SSIS and SQL Server Management Studio for the creation and maintenance of ETL processes, database management, and ad-hoc reporting Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience using Visual Studio, HTML, C#, Visual Basic or ASP for web development Advanced proficiency writing SQL queries using applications like Toad (DB2) or SQL Server Strong business acumen with ability to develop and effectively communicate information and insights through analysis and decision-making based on both qualitative and quantitative data Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to act in a consultative role with internal analytics and business stakeholders across the organization Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner What is Preferred: Healthcare industry or health insurance experience Experience with MS Access and VBA Experience with stored procedures Experience creating or maintaining data visualization tools Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Access, PowerPoint) General Physical Demands Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.
