Join our client’s team as a Cloud Software Engineer and leverage your expertise to build impactful analytics. You’ll create, test, and maintain various Pig and/or PySpark analytics, generating accurate reports that empower users and ensure smooth daily operations. Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop automated analytics with algorithms and techniques.
- Create and deploy data-driven, event-driven, and rule-engine-orchestrated analytics.
- Capture raw data, normalize it, and ensure accuracy for end users.
- Generate custom reports and respond promptly to user needs.
- Maintain a comprehensive dictionary of all analytics.
What you’ll need:
- Proven experience designing and developing automated analytics.
- Expertise in Pig, PySpark, and Piranhas.
- Experience documenting data models, schemas, and technical specifications.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, Scala, Apache NiFi, or Ansible and experience with Agile methodologies and cloud deployments (e.g., MongoDB) is a plus.
Clearance requirement: TS/SCI with FS Polygraph (no clearance upgrades or CCAs). Please note, you MUST have the required clearance for consideration.
