Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Cloud Engineer to join our team in the Virginia Beach, VA. The position is REMOTE , with in-person travel required in extremely rare circumstances. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot compute assets in AWS and Azure Compose new Terraform code and/or edit existing code for the deployment of AWS resources Take an automation-first approach to the administration and configuration management of resources deployed in AWS GovCloud Administer Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows Server instances and their AMI lifecycle Participate in Agile ceremonies as a member of a highly functioning Agile engineering team Create, maintain, and update relevant system documentation as required Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or other related STEM discipline is preferred; additional 6 years of work experience or industry certifications may be substituted for education requirements 2+ years of relevant experience At least an entry-level certification from a CSP (AWS CCP, Microsoft AZ-900) DoD 8570 Computing Environment certification within 6 months of hire Strong background in RHEL OS and/or Windows Server with knowledge in maintaining them Ability to script in one or more of the following computer languages: Python, Bash, or Perl Familiarity with identity solutions that implement SAML/SSO that leverage a CAC Preferred Qualifications: Strong foundational knowledge of networking One AWS or Microsoft Associate-level certification Experience creating and maintaining OCI-compliant container images Experience with EKS, ECS, or Kubernetes for container orchestration 1+ year of Terraform experience Experience working with GitHub or similar system and Git Experience working with Ansible for system configuration Familiar with Microsoft Azure in addition to AWS Clearance Requirement: Active Secret clearance Physical Requirements: Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 75% of the time Must be able to move about inside the office and datacenter to access IT equipment The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations Must be able to observe and detect employee deviations from established policy The projected compensation range for this position is $72,100-$120,900. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
