We are looking for a
Compounding Market Developer
who is responsible for managing compounding circular chemicals relatedbusiness development programs, in order to create new, profitable and growing sustainable chemicals business portfolio and support sustainability goals of the Downstream division.
This position is the technical liaison between the Customer, Sales and R&D Compound Engineer, translating customer requirements and providing project selection and prioritization – typically managing development projects over a period of 1-3 years until start of production.
Workplace is flexible, you can work from Budapest / Tiszaújváros / Bratislava
The main responsibilities:
Be the main contact and interface between both R&D and the Customer, typically automotive OEMs/Tiers Develop new and nurture existing relationships with the Customer base Define, in cooperation with sales and R&D, development projects. Monitor project status from start of material test to approval, provide solutions for quality issues together with R&D Identify potential current and/or future product applications. Determine material requirements or specifications for targeted applications. Communicate material requirements and desired timing to R&D at project initiation Schedules molding trials for material evaluation in actual parts, attending as schedule permits Presents a formalized data package of developed material for customer approval Act as Customer Representative, meaning you have the responsibility & authority to ensure that customer requirements are addressed Represent the company in professional associations, industry events and trade shows
The perfect candidate:
MSc degree in Chemical, Mechanical, and/or Plastics Engineering Min 7-8 years of experience in automotive industry, including but not limited to mould design, process engineering, product development, project management, procurement or quality High level knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word, CRM system knowledge is an advantage Advanced technical knowledge in plastic compounding and/or in injection moulding Speaks fluent English Driving license “B” category
